During the guided tour through the museum, you will learn about how a steam locomotive works and what the working life was like for people working at the station and the motive power depot at the time.

This family tour focusses on the children: the history and technology of steam locomotives is conveyed in a way that is age-appropriate and individual. Children will be engaged through quizzes to make the tour both an educational and an entertaining experience.

After the tour, every child will receive a small surprise to take home. 

The 45 minute tour is meant for one to two families with children aged about 5 to 12.
