Goods shed and water house round off the old station ensemble: initially the goods shed was beyond the railway tracks. But in 1892 the shed became an obstacle, when Neuenmarkt and Marktschorgast stations were completely rebuilt and expanded due to the continuously increasing passenger and goods transport. It was moved stone by stone and rebuilt. The architecture of the shed resembles that of the station building. The old, widely projecting, roof was significantly reduced in 1980. At the same time, parts of the roof support were also removed. However, the bracket stones of the old roof are still visible. Only remnants of the former end-loading ramp are still present. It was used to load and unload goods wagons from the front, i. e. for endloading.
The third building is the water house. Water tanks for storing spring water were located on the upper floor of this sandstone building. After the strenuous ascent, the locomotives replenished their water tanks within very short time. The water cranes beside the tracks have long gone. The building is no longer used as a water house. Most recently, the building was used as a residential building.
